生化机理 桔梗皂苷D具有较强的抗癌性,对体外和体内来源的多种肿瘤细胞株均具有细胞毒性作用。可通过上调肝X受体α(LXRα)和ATP-结合盒转运蛋白A1(ABCA1)信号传导通路,发挥对脂多糖(LPS)诱导的急性肺损伤(ALI)具有抗炎和保护功效。也对顺铂诱导(CDDP)的小鼠肾毒性具有保护作用。

应用

桔梗皂苷D已用于:
使用卵清白蛋白(OVA)诱导的过敏性哮喘小鼠模型,检测其对嗜酸性气道炎症和2型助性T细胞(Th2)信号通路的抗炎和抑制作用;在体内和体外研究中,检测其激活褐色脂肪组织的抗肥胖作用;检测其作为鸡传染性支气管炎(IB)疫苗佐剂的效能。

Platycodin D (PD) is a triterpenoid saponin found in the root of Platycodon grandifloras called Platycodonis Radix.
